Born on a cotton farm in Bastrop, Louisiana Thomas Johnson was inspired to play country and bluegrass music after seeing an old man playing the blues outside a general store. Releasing his songs on Ram Records out of Monroe, Louisiana, Thomas, while driving home from the studio had an epiphany and pulled over to find a telephone. A self described "ramblin' man" he phoned the label and asked that his record be released under the now infamous pseudonym- The Lonesome Drifter. // Marmoset is proud to represent this Fervor Records artist for advertising, branded content, and video game sync licensing.
