Goldband Records, founded in 1945 by Eddie Shuler in Lake Charles, Louisiana, was up until 2005 the longest standing independent record label best known for its classic Cajun and R&B recordings from the '50s and '60s. Not much is known about Freddie Love except the fact that he was blind and Crazy Love is his first recorded single.
