Composer Ezra Weiss has established an international reputation in the music industry, particularly known for his work in both jazz and musical theatre. In the world of jazz, Ezra has released eight albums as a bandleader, leading his own big band and jazz sextet. His bands have performed at major jazz festivals and clubs throughout the U.S., including the Catalina Jazz Club in Los Angeles, the Triple Door in Seattle, and numerous week-long engagements at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Dizzy’s Club in New York City. Ezra has won the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award three times and has been listed in DownBeat Critics Polls as a Rising Star Arranger.
