Every quarter, we partner up with organizations fighting for social, environmental and educational equity<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>And while we\u2019re grateful to be able contribute to these community organizations, we want to acknowledge that we couldn\u2019t do this without the help of those&nbsp;<\/em>within<em>&nbsp;our community \u2014 the creative clients, filmmakers, directors, editors&#8230; people like you. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Keep reading to find out more about the organizations we partnered with and how much we were able to invest directly into our community with your help last quarter.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>With your help last quarter, Marmoset was honored to invest <strong>$34,501<\/strong> into community organizations Black Resilience Fund, Causa Worker Relief, Save Our Stages, APANO, and KairosPDX. Learn more about their missions and how you can contribute directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackresiliencefund.com\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\"><strong>Black Resilience Fund<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Black Resilience Fund is an emergency fund dedicated to fostering healing and resilience in our community by providing immediate resources to Black Portlanders. The Black Resilience Fund was created as a response to the continual and preventable suffering endured by Black communities due to systemic oppression.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/causaoregon.org\/oregon-worker-relief-fund\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\"><strong>Causa Worker Relief<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Causa works to improve the lives of Latino immigrants and their families in Oregon through advocacy, coalition building, leadership development, and civic engagement<em>.<\/em> The Oregon Worker Relief Fund is a community-based system by Causa providing financial relief to immigrant Oregonians disproportionately affected by COVID-19 that cannot access public benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saveourstages.com\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\"><strong>NIVA Save Our Stages<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NIVA (National Independent Venue Association) is a group of over 3,000 independent venues in 50 states and Washington D.C. that are banding together to ask Washington for targeted legislation to help independent venues survive. Their mission is to preserve and nurture the ecosystem of independent live event venues and promoters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.apano.org\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\"><strong>Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>APANO unites Asians and Pacific Islanders to build power, develop leaders, and advance equity through organizing, advocacy, community development, and cultural work. They envision a just world where Asians and Pacific Islanders and communities who share their aspirations and struggles have the power, resources, and voice to determine their own futures,&nbsp; and where we work in solidarity to drive political, social, economic, and cultural change<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kairospdx.org\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\"><strong>KairosPDX<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KairosPDX is an education-focused nonprofit attacking Portland&#8217;s persistent achievement gap, especially for&nbsp;kids of color and children in poverty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Curious about what else you\u2019re directly supporting when you spend your music budget with us?
