In moments like this, our shared humanity is essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is unfolding in Minneapolis is part of a horrific, nationwide pattern. Communities are suffering under a horrific ICE occupation that ignores due process and targets marginalized people, tearing families apart. Protesters exercising their rights are met with fatal violence. With public trust in government at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/politics\/2025\/12\/04\/public-trust-in-government-1958-2025\/\">historic lows<\/a>, we all have a responsibility to act when systems of power operate without restraint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Marmoset, we believe action speaks louder than words. Please join us in supporting Minneapolis-based organizations providing legal aid, emergency resources, and community protection.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s a few other tangible ways to show up:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Financially support<\/strong> local Minneapolis organizations providing legal defense and mutual aid. Resources like <a href=\"http:\/\/musicindustrysaysiceout.com\">musicindustrysaysiceout.com<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standwithminnesota.com\/\">standwithminnesota.com<\/a> are good starting points.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Amplify<\/strong> the voices of those directly impacted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Show up to protest<\/strong> if you are able, and protect the most vulnerable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Refuse to normalize injustice<\/strong> by having hard conversations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Join the nationwide strike and boycott on Friday, January 30th<\/strong>, supporting a &#8220;no work, no school, no shopping&#8221; boycott to demand a scale-down of ICE operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In solidarity with the people of Minneapolis, our immigrant communities, and all who are threatened or harmed, Marmoset will participate in the nationwide boycott and strike this Friday, January 30th.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While we are committed to our clients and the work we do, we are equally committed to our community and our values.
