December 1. <em>Transference<\/em> unearths and re-examines a diverse collection of honored, distinguished musical artifacts, each from the public domain \u2014&nbsp;blowing the proverbial dust off of target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/artists\/dear-nora\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dear Nora<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/artists\/bouquet\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bouquet<\/a> and more \u2014 to take the timeless design of classic public domain songs and reimagine them into something new, whether it be intimate folk, electropop, or soul revival and funk (just to name a few).<\/h2>\n<h2>This morning, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.brooklynvegan.com\/the-helio-sequence-re-imagine-1914-song-down-among-the-sheltering-palms-listen\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brooklyn Vegan exclusively premiered<\/a> the first single off of the album, a reimagining of the 1914 song,&nbsp;\u201cDown Among the Sheltering Palms\u201d by Portland-based indie legends, The Helio Sequence and produced by Marmoset&#8217;s own Nicole Wilson &#8212; song available for license at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/42445\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">marmosetmusic.com<\/a>.&nbsp;Stay tuned for
