Originally from Farmington, New Mexico, Onry co-founded the Seattle hip-hop collective,&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oldominion\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oldominion<\/a>, and has since released a number of collaborative albums under the names Grayskul and <a href=\"http:\/\/pitchfork.com\/reviews\/albums\/5837-polarity\/\">Norman<\/a>, to name a few.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Ozzborn gives us the gift of a different kind of of valentine \u2014 a dark, apocalyptic music video, celebrating the release of his upcoming album, <em><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/onryozzborn.bandcamp.com\/album\/c-v-p-ii-d\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">c v p ii d<\/a>.<\/em> The film, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dmsEUUaFFbU&amp;list=PL1YCDFzd-ctf1r0roFKCtrHuh41nsd0R0&amp;index=2\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>+ h 3 B1RTH of c v p ii d<\/em><\/a>, combines Ozzborn\u2019s reinvention of the classic mascot of love with his portrayal of the relationship between man and woman. Set to a compilation of songs from his new record (including \u201cContractions,\u201d &#8220;They&#8217;re There,&#8221; \u201cBed Bugs\u201d and \u201cThe Pits\u201d), the video follows Ozzborn through dystopian Seattle streets, weaving vignettes of personal relationships into a broader narrative about the complexity of human nature.
