We have the honor of listening and advocating for all of the great music being crafted by our roster of working musicians, and we wanted to share some recent tracks that have been blowing our minds. We went around and asked our staff what they we&#8217;re currently listening to and compiled a list of 5 tracks that you should check out today. Enjoy.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h1 id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_29183\">1. &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17623\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17623\">Metal Masks<\/a>&#8221;&nbsp;by <a href=\"http:\/\/marmosetmusic.com\/artists\/key-losers\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/marmosetmusic.com\/artists\/key-losers\">Key Losers<\/a><\/h1>\n<p id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_32656\">Packed with fun flutters of saxophone, there\u2019s bongo, there\u2019s light and pretty \u201coohs\u201d in the back. Diverse song, and fun. Pretty laid back and calming, atmospheric. Gives the imagery of hanging out at a party, where the music isn\u2019t really the focus but really sets&nbsp;the vibe. <\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_32386\">&#8220;&#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17623\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17623\">Metal Masks<\/a>&#8216; has the most mystical use of saxophone I&#8217;ve heard in years,\u201d says <strong>Artist Relations<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Brandon Day<\/strong>. \u201cKey Losers nailed it with this one.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h1 id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_34250\">2.&nbsp;&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17533\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17533\" id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_47660\">Cocoon<\/a>&#8221; by <a href=\"http:\/\/marmosetmusic.com\/artists\/xolo\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/marmosetmusic.com\/artists\/xolo\">XOLO<\/a><\/h1>\n<p id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_36524\">Dreamy, surfy. Soft billowing riffs, hazy + whispery vocals female vocals. Very simple and melodic, catchy but not upbeat, pretty laid back and calm. Vocals are kind of soft and vulnerable, but the riff is pretty bright. Brings montages to mind and also water, like the beach or the poolside. There are little flecks of detail that show up in the layers&#8211;the repetitive synthesizer line that just runs up and down under everything at random times. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_36630\">&#8220;&#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17533\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17533\">Cocoon<\/a>&#8216; mixes shoegaze and dream-pop elements that bring to mind golden hour at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park in Big Sur,\u201d says <strong>Artist Relations<\/strong>, <strong>Brandon Day<\/strong>. \u201cThe melodies cascade onto a dreamy beach made of synth shimmers &#8211; not unlike the McWay waterfall does in Big Sur.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h1 id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_38414\">3. \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17617\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17617\" id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_47980\">Warehouse Fire<\/a>\u201d by <a href=\"http:\/\/marmosetmusic.com\/artists\/true-ripper\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/marmosetmusic.com\/artists\/true-ripper\">True Ripper<\/a><\/h1>\n<p id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_40072\">Slick and well-arranged.&nbsp;Perfect for some&nbsp;computer hacker montage during an 80s film, or a slow motion video of a spider creeping up on something. There\u2019s something kind of mysterious about it, but it\u2019s also very upbeat with&nbsp;building and driving beats.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_40741\">\u201cI love &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17617\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17617\">Warehouse Fire<\/a>&#8221; for its dark, menacing, industrial vibes,\u201d says <strong>Jr. Producer<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Katy Davidson<\/strong>. \u201cDystopia never sounded so fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<h1 id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_27260\">4. \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/18070\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/18070\">Setting Up Time<\/a>\u201d by <a href=\"http:\/\/marmosetmusic.com\/artists\/the-weather\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/marmosetmusic.com\/artists\/the-weather\">The Weather<\/a><\/h1>\n<p id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_42659\">Super youthful and rebellious feeling with&nbsp;handclaps,&nbsp;fuzzy, and grungy riffs. Very, very driving and fast-paced. Love the shakers and the background \u201chey!\u201ds. Anthemic track all around.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_43182\">\u201c&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/18070\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/18070\">Setting Up Time<\/a>&#8216; blends the immediacy and cadence of &#8216;Life&#8217;s Rich Pageant&#8217;-era REM with the intensity of an indie-rock pep-rally,\u201d says <strong>Music Supervisor<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Ron Lewis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h1 id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_26750\">5. \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17093\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.marmosetmusic.com\/browse\/17093\">Toad Lick<\/a>\u201d by <a href=\"http:\/\/marmosetmusic.com\/artists\/east-forest\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/marmosetmusic.com\/artists\/east-forest\">East Forest<\/a>&nbsp;<\/h1>\n<p id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1439419718873_46457\">Bright and curious, it\u2019s all harp and beats and some light strings. The harp is really out at the forefront and there\u2019s an&nbsp;intricate beauty to it. Lots of layers to check out with&nbsp;floating melodies.
