This multi-national (Based in San Francisco/Melbourne/New York) instrumental band is reminiscent of the post-rock grandeur and beauty of bands like Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Explosions in the Sky… only these guys are a bit more avant garde in their arrangements. Simultaneously ambient and intense, the record has been rocking college radio for the past few weeks – it’s currently the number one most played album on WNYU and has made the top ten on many other stations: http://wnyu.org/playlists/nas20111205.html
Beaten by Them is on the rise. We are proud to have them on the Marmoset roster and their music is available for licensing.

[16
218,3598,206,3599,1940,3600
post-5955","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-music","tag-licensing","tag-loud","tag-music","tag-people-start-listening","tag-post-rock","tag-wnyu","has-excerpt
["GET
