Jack Van Baton is a songwriter and vocalist born and raised in Henryetta, Oklahoma. After years of performing with various bands in the nearby Tulsa music scene, Van Baton decided to seek out his own solo project. He forged the sound of the project, Acid Queen, by refracting boogie-woogie and blues through the stained glass of psychedelia and garage rock. The solo project has since swelled to a four-piece band and has taken their music regionally as far as Kansas and Nashville. The bands newest release, Don't Mind if I Don't, features The Black Keys inspired 'Back Against the Wall', the frantic Rolling Stones groove 'Heartstrung', and the band's first acoustic waltz 'Who I Am'.
