Al Casey
FolkLegendary guitarist Al Casey began his career in Phoenix, AZ, where he started playing ukulele at age two, switched to steel guitar at eight, and performed in clubs by 14. A sought-after session musician, Casey recorded with Lee Hazlewood and played with Duane Eddy’s Rebels, contributing to hits. His Al Casey’s Combo scored hits including “Cookin’,” “Jivin’ Around,” and “Surfin’ Hootenanny.” After relocating to Los Angeles, Casey became part of The Wrecking Crew, working with the Beach Boys, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, and other icons. His legacy endures.
