Born in Seattle, Citizens is a dynamic indie pop-rock 5 piece with a post-retro bent. Since 2011 Citizens has been journeying through multi-dimensional soundscapes of everything from big guitars, warm snyths and driving rhythm to more sparse and serene moments of quiet beauty. Each song is woven together with powerful lyricism and alluring melodies earnestly delivered by lead singer Zach Bolen. Citizens offers an uncommon honesty, unashamedly expressing with whatever emotion necessary life as articulated through the mercy of art and music.
