Cloud Signals
Cloud Signals emerges as the brainchild of Portland, OR-based songwriter Ryan Stively; a collaborative project featuring members of Sea Wolf, Rogue Wave, and Port O'Brien. Replete with lush string arrangements and horns courtesy of multi-instrumentalist and producer Cory Gray, Cloud Signals' new EP "Half Empty Moon" explores a richly textured take on indie folk. Stively's imaginative songwriting and clever lyrics falls somewhere alongside bands like Wilco, Phosphorescent and Kurt Vile.
