Dick Flood & The Pathfinders

Rnb

Born in Virginia and raised in the Washington, D.C. music circuit, Dick Flood first gained attention on The Jimmy Dean Show before joining the pioneering country-rock group The Pathfinders in the early 1960s. Blending country, folk, and rock influences years before the style became mainstream, the band helped pave the way for acts like The Byrds and Poco. Flood also became a regular performer at the Grand Ole Opry, wrote songs for Roy Orbison and Porter Wagoner, and spent years entertaining U.S. troops across Europe and Asia.
