Dumpty Cooper Group
Daniele Cestana is an Italian pianist, keyboardist, and composer. Since the late 1970s, he has been very active in the fields of library music and Italian soundtracks, known by aliases such as Asestar, David Honeard, and Dan Cooper. Alongside guitarist Nanni Civitenga, he co-founded the New Age Group, a studio band specializing in providing background music for cinema, radio, and television; the band later evolved into the Dumpty Cooper Group project. Cestana's versatility has also seen him contribute as a session musician to albums by renowned Italian artists like Ornella Vanoni and Loretta Goggi.
