A true composer the likes of which hardly exist anymore, Fabian Andre penned contless tunes, including the classic, “Dream A Little Dream of Me” (Mama’s And The Papas, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby). While Andre had massive success as a pop composer, he was most at home exploring Latin Rhythms and harmonies like those displayed in his work with his Orchestra. In addition to the group’s output on Fiesta Records, they also recorded for Columbia and Ploydor. Sadly, Andre passed away in 1960 at the age of 50.
