Chicago Soul staples The Triplett Twins (Leon and Levi) produced the act Fantasy recording the song “Betsy” in 1975. The Disco-infused opus was an homage to a car lovingly named Betsy. The Triplett Record Corporation pressed a 12” extended play single and shopped the song to radio. “Betsy” is now a hard to find collector’s item, sought after by crate diggers across the globe. Fervor is proud to add another slice of the incredible 1970s Southside Chicago Soul sound to our ever-expanding catalog.
