George Rank Orchestra
From Springfield, Illinois, Trumpet player George Rank began his career performing with local groups like Del Courtney's band. By the 1950's, Rank had his own orchestra, which was the Lake Club's "house band" for several years. Rank would also become a local television celebrity in the late '50's and early '60's.
