Florentine composer, arranger, and pianist Oscar Rocchi began his career in the 1960s in Milan as a studio and touring session musician for prominent Italian singers like Ornella Vanoni. Giancarlo Barigozzi, a multi-instrumentalist (flute, clarinet, saxophone), composer and sound engineer, was a prominent figure in Milan's jazz scene from the 1960s to the 1980s. He collaborated with dozens of Italian musicians such as Franco Cerri, Gianni Basso, Gil Cuppini, and Giorgio Gaslini, as well as international icons like Tony Scott, Milt Jackson, Percy Heath, Jack Teagarden, and Frank Sinatra.
