Gigi Dixon

Country

Gigi Dixon was poised for country stardom in Nashville’s late-’80s boom. A winner of the TV talent show Be A Star, she showcased at the Grand Ole Opry, opened for Willie Nelson, and drew interest from artists including Wynonna Judd and Reba McEntire. A gifted singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Dixon traveled regularly from Phoenix to Nashville, writing and recording with top session players and hit songwriters. Though she passed on record deals while waiting for the right fit, her country-pop songs endure. Decades later, Fervor Records reissued her catalog, introducing her music to new audiences through film and television placements.
