Grams Roadie
Grams Roadie inhabits the spaces in between. His musical language was shaped early by a box of relics—’60s blues, West African guitar, and Charlie Mingus records pulled from his grandfather’s belongings—sounds that felt less like influences and more like transmissions. Emerging in New York City with a perspective fully his own, he stayed untethered from trend and grounded in feel. Over the next decade, Roadie traveled the edges of the globe, laying down wandering grooves with a shifting constellation of collaborators. He now lives in the wilderness, recording solo drums outdoors and letting wind, rain, and pine trees shape the music.
