Gregory Allison creates with a single violin a sound that travels across great landscapes. A resident of Portland, he has traveled around the world with violin in hand, inspired by his instruments' use in a wide variety of world musics. Gregory's music is classical at it's heart, with strong influences from modern ambient, neoclassical, and Americana traditions. The sounds of his ten-year spiritual and musical journey through South Indian Classical music continue to permeate through his compositions.
