JJ and Trash Dogs are a 4 piece instrumental Surf Rock group based in New Orleans, LA. The group consists of career Jazz musicians who shared a love of Surf Rock and decided to form their own group in the Summer of 2018 while on a 2 month residency with a circus in Holland. After hours when the circus show was done for the evening the group would pick up the instruments used during the show and entertain the crew with renditions of The Ventures and Bel-Airs tunes. It was during these late night dance parties in the circus tent that the idea to create a legit Surf band was conceived.
