Liefie (which means "lover" in Afrikaans) is the solo piano ambient project of Sulene van der Walt. Growing up in Cape Town, South Africa, Sulene moved to New York City at nineteen-years-old and has composed music for several films and TV shows. Liefie showcases the intimate, stripped back side of her writing.
