Lofi Lace

Joan Meyer is a native Portland, Oregon singer-songwriter, vocalist, and producer behind Lace Leaf Productions, with deep Pacific Northwest roots and a long history of making music that feels human, earthy, and honest. After years as a band leader and performing artist, Joan stepped further into modern production, creating songs, vocals, and instrumentals for collaboration and sync. Joan’s sound lives in the space between airy, understated vocals and grounded, rootsy grooves, with a laid-back delivery often compared to Fleeting Foxes or the Cowboy Junkies with the cool sway of their version of Velvet Underground’s “Sweet Jane.” As a beatmaker, Joan also creates lo-fi hip hop instrumentals designed for relaxing and studying, often exploring music in different frequencies and creating sparse, rhythmic motifs that leave room for story and dialogue in TV, film, and ads.
