Massimo Martellotta
Massimo Martellotta is an Italian multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger, known primarily as author and co-founder of the italian cinematic funk combo Calibro 35. Described by Rolling Stone as "the most fascinating, retro-maniac and genuine thing that has happened to Italy in the past few years," Milan-based Calibro 35 enjoy a worldwide reputation as one of the coolest independent bands around. Active since 2007, during their 18-year career they have established themselves for their technical mastery and love for groove, cancelling every possible contradiction between coherence and eclecticism, between executive rigor and creative freedom.
