Miel makes dream pop for dancing and/or crying, usually both at the same time. Miel's sound is defined by brutal vocal and lyrical honesty over lush textural soundscapes cut by bright synths and sharp beats. With co-producer brother Henri Bardot, they write and record in an old barn on the remote island where they grew up. Despite their best efforts, many tracks contain at least some horse noise.
