Nismah grew up on the Jersey shore. A student of Berklee College, Nismah is developing her soul and acoustic sound. Hailing from the breezy beach town of Cape May nestled on the southern coast of New Jersey, Nismah’s music boasts meaningful themes and powerful productions. Her sound can be described as a bold, off-beat, quirk-pop that blends modern and classic sounds to create unique portraits of intricately woven stories. Nismah's writing is dripping with raw, real, and unfiltered emotion, and is supported by tracks infused with both bright synths and classic sounds. Her tracks marry hip-hop with soul; singer/songwriter with R&B, and are filled with tasteful sonic ear candy to keep things interesting.
