Norm Roth

Rock

In the late 1960s, teenager Norm Roth co-founded the garage-psych band The Glass Cage in Nanaimo, B.C. After their 1968 demo failed to launch the group, Roth moved to the rural isolation of Trend Records in Scarborough, Ontario. Working out of the label's converted schoolhouse, he recorded his enduring 1970s solo work that now resides at Fervor Records. These songs perfectly capture the era's Canadian rock 'n' roll landscape.
