Philip Wiese quit music nearly overnight. After several years of studying at the jazz academy in Trondheim, Norway, he gave it all up and started running. He ran far and fast, but he never completely ran away from his guitar. And when he picked it up again after a while, he started creating fragile and gripping pop tunes, amplified by airy productions and nods to artists such as Frank Ocean, The Beatles, James Blake and Kendrick Lamar.
