PINK PASTEL is the brainchild of Houston raised, Oahu based songwriter Melanie M Scheiber, also known under her pop artist project “my friends call me Mel”. Created in 2024 from a blend of pop sensibility, unhinged girl power, and her racing ADHD mind, PINK PASTEL paints a soundscape she coined as Bubblegum Hip Pop. Her laid back delivery of rhythmic internal flow paired with floating melodies under synth-pop beats welcomes the listener to whatever fantastical world she has created.
