Santigie Fofana-Dura
Santigie Fofana-Dura is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges the worlds of sound and image. He spent several years as an emcee with the local jazz/soul/funk band Tribe Mars before reinventing himself as a visual artist. His work has been featured at the Bellevue Art Museum, Bush House Museum, Oregon Arts Watch, GLEAN, and numerous other venues and publications across the Pacific Northwest. Santigie brings a keen eye for atmosphere and storytelling to his music production, exploring a refined blend of folk and hip-hop. His tracks carry the same visual sensibility as his artwork—immersive, evocative, and emotionally resonant. Blending artistry across mediums, Santigie is dedicated to creating music that not only complements but elevates moving images, seamlessly connecting sight and sound into one cohesive experience.
