Scanners
RockScanners formed in London around the songwriting partnership of Matt Scanners and Sarah Daly before expanding into a full band with Amina Bates and Tom Hutt. Signed by Steve Aoki to Dim Mak Records, they earned acclaim with their 2006 debut Violence Is Golden, followed by Submarine (2010) and Love Is Symmetry (2012). The band toured extensively throughout Europe and North America, appeared on Last Call with Carson Daly, and shared stages with artists including Devo, Silversun Pickups, and The Charlatans. In 2022, Fervor Records acquired a selection of Scanners' archives, leading to three albums of previously unreleased recordings.
