He has worked with a plethora of artists such as Maps & Atlases, The Folk Implosion, St. Vincent, Spoon, Superchunk, Okkervil River, The Mountain Goats, Harp, Erik Friedlander, Derek Piotr, Fred Frith, Zeena Parkins, Sarah Jaffe, Fuckin Whatever, John Vanderslice, Pattern is Movement, The Forms, The Carribbean, Centro-matic, Alexander Turnquist, Liam Singer, Church Girls, Mike Patton......... In addition, Solter has released remixes and original music with The Balustrade Ensemble, Boxharp, The Murals, Wreathe, and under his own name.
