Suzie is the dream-pop love-fi musical endeavor of Minneapolis based musician Mark Ritsema. In between records, Ritsema has spent his time writing and recording, touring, and crafting the 2018 release ‘Pressure’ with producer Graham Barton. Inspired through mutual admiration of Top 40 writing and production, Graham is able to filter the nostalgic, coming of age, youthful angst that is at the heart of the Suzie sound, and give it new life through his mastery tools of commercial music production. The departure from the DIY bedroom sound to the studio does not take away from the intimacy of the recordings; however, the connection still resonates between artist and listener.
