Vancouver-based Brian "Hoot" Gibson is a highly credentialed Canadian songwriter, composer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and performing artist. He holds a Master of Music in Composition from the University of British Columbia and is recognized for a career that spans classical choral performance, as well as pop, rock, and R&B songwriting. Credited with writing over 3,000 jingles, including the iconic McDonald's "ba da ba ba ba" mnemonic, Gibson’s influence on the musical landscape is vast. Beyond his extensive list of credits, he is also a co-founder of Vancouver’s legendary Little Mountain Sound Studios.
