Artist Snapshot
The Sanyu Choir is a collaboration between Alex Kisseka and Brian Hall. Brian (a producer and songwriter based in Portland, OR) makes beats and works out melodies for them, and Alex (a vocalist, songwriter, and choir conductor from Wakiso, Uganda) paints the ideas with the vibrant sounds and expressions of Uganda. The result is a masterful, swirling mix of joyful children's choirs, hand drums and hard hitting dance beats.
