Newly minted Portlanders via small town western Nebraska, brothers Nick and Tyler Talbott took their two guitars and a beat-up Impala across the country in 2012, playing their charmingly earnest folk rock tunes to only a handful people. But what they lacked in attendance was more than made up for in the wisdom they gained from the road. And you feel that depth in their newest tunes: achingly sincere lyrics, tight harmonies and friendly steel string picking. This is real Americana at its best.
