The YAYennings Quartet is an LA based band with roots from jazz super group Snarky Puppy. Band leader, Jay Jennings, as well as tenor man Bob Reynolds (John Mayer), came together during a recording session for Snarky Puppy in 2016. They realized they both had a passion for early west coast bebop mainly inspired by greats like Chet Baker, Stan Getz, and Gerry Mulligan. Jennings moved to LA in February of 2017 and wrote the album "Scott Ave". The rhythm section Jose Perez (Poncho Sanchez) on drums and Ross Schodek (Poncho Sanchez) on bass.
