Psychedelia is the sound of beauty, empowerment, and absurdist imagery all rolled into one. Portland-based singer, multi-instrumentalist, and visual artist Ash Schanley a.k.a. Theda knows just how to put this formula to the test. While forging prismatic, lo-fi, folk-pop tunes, Schanley remains sentimentally introspective within the smoky vulnerability of her voice. After studying for nursing school in hometown Buffalo NY, she decided to return to her true calling: healing people through music.
