TopLady was founded by producer C.M. Rodriguez (La Lenguas, Kat Kong) and vocalist Lia Braswell (Le Butcherettes, Peter Pants) to fill a hole in the Los Angeles music scene. Locally there was a lack of simple, intense, smart, attitude-riddled garage punk. The duo answered this void; a four song EP that lasted just over six minutes. For fans of rock music that is utterly lacking in frills and dominated by immediacy, TopLady has arrived.
