Golden Gram
A whistle on the train, a bass line in the street, a beat from the bar then tucked in a pocket, taken home to a bedroom and massaged into sonic reality. Emeryville, California's Graham Lebron of Golden Gram has been composing this way for 15 years. The results are cinematic, often inspirational, usually instrumental. Vintage synths, sampled beats, orchestral lines, and folk rhythms, are coated in an ambient candy shell.
