In Oregon a beach isn't really a "beach" - the frigid Pacific waters and towering rock formations make it much more dramatic and moody. So it's no surprise that Portland producer and songwriter Brian Hall's project Beachcomber is also a paradox of sorts. Anthemic enough to echo through arenas but familiar and youthful as if they came from the garage, Beachcomber's hooky electro pop sounds like summertime: these infectiously catchy and energetic indie gems might pull you right out of your seat.
