San Diego's indie-surf-rock outfit, Gringo, describes their interests as: skateboards, pizza, beer and lava lamps. Gazing out from behind sunglasses and wisps of long-hair dancing in the wind, frontman Ryan Gillespie showcases his sun-soaked garage gusto with an infectious chill. Lo-fi guitars sparkle with grit like the sun glinting off of the coarse sand of a California beach.
