Bearcubbin' is a experimental/math rock band from Portland, Oregon, featuring Chris Scott, Mike Byrne, Pat Dougherty and a small army of Gibson Echoplexes. Together, they are out to prove that 3 people with instruments can sound as good as one DJ. Percolating rhythms pop from all directions emanating from tight guitars and side-chained synths. This is pure Northwest musical ambition - epic, dense and clever as hell.
