Bobby Taylor
Bobby Taylor was raised in New York City and sang in local doo-wop groups as a young man. In the 50s and 60s he performed in the groups The Four Pharaohs and Little Daddy and the Bachelors. In the late 60s he played in Bobby Taylor & The Vancouvers and released an album on Motown. When The Jackson 5 opened up Bobby Taylor & The Vancouvers Taylor personally brought the group to Motown and he became the group's first producer.
