Portland, OR based multi-instrumentalist and composer Luke Wyland is the mastermind behind such acclaimed genre blurring acts as AU, LWW and Methods Body. Wyland has spent the last 15 years pushing the limits of his musical language composing original scores for modern dance, film/television, and most recently the 155 singers of a high school choir program - which he had the great pleasure of touring with around the western US. His sound pulls from the hypnotic repetitions of the minimalists, the celebratory kitchen sink ethos of avant-pop, the intricate rhythmic play of electronica, and the emotive depth of classical music. Equally at home on solo piano, or swirling in the maelstrom of an orchestra, Wyland's music is distinctly his own - striking just the right balance between the cerebral and the emotional.
