Andrés Crovetti is a second-generation Venezuelan-American songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and creative being, who currently calls Chicago and its exceedingly innovative music scene home. Often with densely layered rhythmic structures, live performances in favor of programming, and expansive sonic textures falling somewhere between hip hop, ambient, and experimental jazz, Andrés’s instrumental music utilizes extensive improvisation and creative techniques to explore the contradiction of capturing spontaneity and authenticity inside the static and calculated nature of recorded music.
