Blue Cranes are an evocative combination of jazz and post rock. This Portland, Oregon based jazz-rock group is made up by Reed, Joe, Rebecca, Jon and Ji whom play alto sax, tenor sax, keyboard, bass and drums respectively. The unique approach taken by these talented musicians is poignant, soulful and at times jarringly dissonant. Hooky melodies, strong backbeats, and dynamic interplay make Blue Cranes a joyous listening experience.
