Ancient Eyes is an alternative rock band from Portland, Oregon. What started as a project by singer-songwriter Reid MacKenzie in 2014, featuring country-tinged guitars and a humble 80's college rock sound, has since become an amalgamation of different personalities and influences with the additions of drummer Rob Iggulden (Future Historians, Câlisse) and bassist Kevin Hoffman (Câlisse, Hawkeye) coming into the fold in 2017. MacKenzie's vision of the human experience has now blossomed into the group's vision, and with it, a style of its own nuanced version of what can casually be defined as indie rock.
